How it is made? ARCHEO SAILING JEWELLERY is made of black oak found during archaeological studies in the area of medieval buildings, dating back to the 14th century. The wood was subject to dendrological analysis, which allowed for identification of its age. This is how we know it is dated to 1346.

Each copy is handcrafted and absolutely unique.

WIND ROSE

Adorable bracelet, stylized for a wind rose well-known for sailors. Plinius Senior writes that in Homer’s time, there were only four wind directions, which was an insufficient number. Then another eight were added, which, in turn, Plinius writes, was an exaggeration. Therefore all eight winds in eight directions are in common use, these are: North, North-East, East, South-East, South, South-West, West, North-West.
